My work is driven by my interest in the similarities between plant and animal forms, which materialize not only on the level of content but also in the choice of the material itself. The translucent intestinal parchment is molded into animals that are morphing into plants. The uncanny beauty is challenging and stirring up thoughts about the fragility of life, our closeness to death and the fact that life carries on: Incessantly and forever changing.
The rebirth of Life is symbolic of timeless time.
