The tempo is slow when working with stone. To grind a stone takes time, but it is good for the process. Stone gives me time to think and conceive my ideas. The theme I am currently working with is memories. I am fascinated how experiences, remembrance and narrative blends together during the time – which will create a completely new story, a memory. The theme is a tool and initiator for me but I am not loyal to it. I begin with an idea, I listen the intuition and trust to let it become something else.
