My work, talk about the action of time: ageing, disappearance, remains. I collect seeds, stalks and them in porcelain and make my pieces by agglutination, by means of small repeated gestures, as one might embroider or meditate in tranquility, putting in motion what Bachelard terms “the material imagination”; he adds that “it is in the doing that the dream gains substance”.
