Main aims of the rebranding were better distinguishing in the city, clearer overall image, more modern and unified visual as well as a face that stands out from among other theatres.
The productions of the National Opera are "Productions with a Capital P", due to which the main element of the main visual will be the initial letter of a production or a characterising letter, into which the photo from the production is displayed.
The characterising letters of the production were specially developed for Estonia. The solution works in two stages – in the first stage, often even 1.5 years earlier, when the new productions require a face, but there are no images yet, the graphic letter is used. The letter gets the final nuance with an interesting graphic element, which is joined with the letter. During the second stage, a photo from the production is embedded in the letter.
The logo was also updated and is now clearer and more legible on all materials. As the client wished, the logo keeps the well-known drawings of the building, but the font has changed and the word Estonia has been highlighted. More attention is paid to the homepage address in all channels.
