Tanker switched from glass bottles to metal cans. This raised many questions:
Can I save the planet by drinking beer?
Yes, you can. Aluminium is made of 100% recyclable materials. It means that every part of your can will be used again. It is also lighter than glass. This reduces transportation costs, for example, because we can ship more beer with the same shipment.
Can I be sure that my beer always tastes as it should?
Yes, you can. UV light and O2 are damaging beer flavour. Since cans are completely light- and airtight, none of them cause bad changes in smell or taste.
Can I drop it?
Yes, you can. If you drop a bottle on the street, you can be sure – there is no more beer for you. If you drop a can, you still have it!
Can I chill my warm beer even faster?
Yes, you can. If you like your beer cold, then know that a canned beer will chill down a lot quicker than a glass bottle.
And last but not least
Can I taste the metal?
No, you can not. In 2019, cans are made with modern technology and are absolutely „tinny-tasteless“. As numerous blind tests have proved – there is no taste difference between beer in a glass or canned beer.
