Principal Dr. Bipul Singh hails from a humble background in a small town, Patna, India. He was raised by his banker father, Shiv Shankar Singh, and mother, Prabha Singh, a dedicated homemaker. As the eldest of three siblings, with a younger sister and brother, Bipul Singh grew up in a household prioritizing academic excellence and compassionate values.
Inspired by his family's unwavering values, all three siblings embarked on remarkable educational journeys in their chosen fields, fueled by a profound dedication to serving individuals with disabilities and leaving a positive imprint on the world. Driven by a deep-rooted passion for education and an unwavering desire to empower others, Bipul Singh embarked on a transformative professional path that took him across various regions in India and the United States.
At home, Dr. Singh finds joy and support in the loving presence of his wife, Pummi, with whom he has shared 19 years of marital bliss. They are proud parents to their two children, Raj (15) and Neel (10), who want to follow in their parent’s footsteps in pursuing higher education and serving people.
Driven by his deep-rooted faith and belief in the power of service, Dr. Singh embraces his role as the principal of Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School as more than just a profession. For him, it is a calling to serve children and ensure equity in educational opportunities and outcomes.
