Gastronomy book How the Future King of England Ate Peacock in Vilnius seeked to show the connections between the kitchens of Lithuania and England. The challenge was to discover the similarities of the two cultures, while not merging them into one. So we used combining illustrations: English alphabet letters, that represent the elements of the narrative, tell uniting stories of the two nations and help bridge the recipes. To make it easier to follow, we presented the recipes as removable cards.
