Some people die for a drink. Those waiting for organ transplants are literally dying for life. How to bring the question of life and death into the daily context?
MIRŠTU, KAIP NORIU GYVENTI (‘Dying for life’) – a live 24 hour performance in Vilnius and Kaunas stations with hundreds of people standing for over 1.200 combined hours. The performance, supported by empathy raising adverts and an artistic short film, ignited a debate about organ transplantation – 800 messages in traditional and social media and 505% increase on organ donation agreement submissions on the record month in the history of Lithuanian organ transplantation.
