“Kunsttööstuskoolist Kunstiakadeemiaks. 100 aastat kunstiharidust Tallinnas” / “From the School of Arts and Crafts to the Academy of Arts. 100 Years of Art Education in Tallinn” is an anthology about Estonian Academy of Arts’ 100 year old history and the adademy’s main jubilee-publication, compiled by Mart Kalm. The publication complemented the exhibition at Kumu Art Museum. 608 pages of texts by different authors and photos and drawings from different periods of time had to be designed in a way that they are easy and interesting to read and look at. Typefaces used: Baton by Fatype.com (designer: Anton Koovit) and Times. Baton gives the book a bit historic but at the same time quite modern look, and Times is one of the best workhorses for this kind of myriad of texts.
