Mexico, for an average Finn, means soap operas, tequila and indians. For the new Finnish alco-pop drink Lonkero Mexico the indian heritage was used to create an unique visual which would immediately stand out both in the shop and on outdoor advertisement. The historic Aztec and Olmec paintings were the inspiration for the crazy-looking indian mask. The same face is used both on the package and the ad and it’s quite impossible to ignore its burning look.
