Tallinna uus visuaalne identiteet ühendab ja ühtlustab linnavalitsuse, linnakantselei, eri ametite ning linnaosade kommunikatsiooni, kõnetades selgemini nii linnakodanikku kui linnatöötajat. Lähteülesandele vastavalt põhineb identiteet linna kõige tuntumal sümbolil — lipul. Logomärk ühendab linna vapi kuju lipu dünaamilise mustriga. Mahukal identiteedisüsteemil on veebipõhine juhend, mis tagab selle lihtsa kasutuse ja uuendamise.
Tallinn's new visual identity unites and unifies the communication of the city's government, council, offices and districts, speaking more clearly to both citizens and officials. According to the brief, the identity is based on the most recognized symbol of Tallinn — its flag. The logomark combines the shape of the coat of arms with a dynamic flag pattern. The extensive identity system has an online guidebook that ensures ease of use and updating.
