Designing the telemetry interface for the Student Formula Team Tallinn was part of a sponsorship by Elisa, who offered their support with design and IoT solutions.
The design needed to have a clear presentation on the cars performance, so engineers can quickly see if there is any trouble with the vehicle and where there is room for future improvement.
While the goal was to have a practical tool for engineers, we could also have fun with the aesthetics, which are partly inspired by tech interfaces in science fiction films.
As a side note, the team did an amazing job and won multiple awards in Formula SAE Italy, including the overall first place.
