Swedbank is the largest bank in the Baltic region. Digitization and innovation have always been important parts of their strategy and it has materialized in Swedbank’s new mobile app.
Mooncascade helped Swedbank to jump-start the new Android app concept and initial UX/UI development.
Mooncascade design team worked daily closely together with Swedbank mobile team to plan and execute an extensive user-research to understand the lives and needs of different types of Swedbank clients.
Based on the insights from the user research, usage analytics, engineering and business analytics, an exploration of possible directions was done.
After choosing most promising concepts, and user-testing them, the general direction was chosen and detailed design was created in many design cycles.
General UX/UI logic for both mobile platforms were designed together by Mooncascade and Swedbank as a team.
From there on Mooncascade focused more on delivering Android design and working together with Android team. Swedbank designers continued the same for iOS app.
